Testicle Removed and Positive Side Effect

Testicle Removed and Positive Side Effect

I have been very sick since Oct 1st 2024. Extremely high fever. Around Oct10th felt that right testicle was enlarged. Went to a local doc and he sent me to a Consultant Surgeon Dr Parimalendran.  Very nice Doctor, answered all my stupid questions.

A couple of scans and he said my right testicle was infected.  Said it had been for some time maybe over a year.  Said he would give me antibiotics for a week and if there was no reduction in swelling would have to do a surgical procedure to remove the pus.

A week later no reduction in swelling so off to surgery. I was given a local anesthetic below the waist  Had a very pleasant chat with the anesthesiologist Dr Chandana Navaratne. As usual I was inquisitive and asked why he returned to Sri Lanka from Australia. Dr Navaratne answered that he wanted his daughters to be brought up in Sri Lankas conservative culture.  I asked Dr Parimalendran the same question why he returned from the UK.  Same answer he wanted his daughters to be brought up in Sri Lankas conservative culture.

Anyway it has been about 3 weeks since the surgery. The wound will take over a month to heal.

Noticed a very nice positive side effect.   For close to two years have not had a stiff erection.  Can ejaculate but cannot penetrate.  Thought it was because of being a diabetic and age. Now with the surgery I and getting a erectiob hard enough for penetration I think.  Waiting for the wound to heal to give it a test run.

My theory is that the infection was blocking the artery veins that give an erection. With the surgery the block was removed.
